Our story
Kibinna was born from a simple observation: millions of people in Africa and beyond use savings groups (or "rotating savings and credit associations") as a way to build wealth together. These communities are powerful, but they often lack the tools to manage their finances transparently and securely.
In 2021, our founder witnessed firsthand how a lack of proper record-keeping was eroding trust in his own savings group. He realized that a simple, mobile-first platform could solve this problem for millions of people. Kibinna was born.
